The following is a list of web sites that may be of interest to DREs. Some of them are police sites, others are professional medical sites, and others are clearly the product of drug users. The fact that the site is listed here does not mean that we endorse the content of the site. They are only offered as a resource list. Several of the sites have other links, and if you peruse these sites, you will see that the amount of information on the web is vast. One of the sites has "trip reports" from people who (allegedly) have taken the drug mentioned. Keep in mind that of the info on this type of site is self-reported, and the accuracy of the report depends on the honesty of the reporter. The medical sites are helpful if prescription drug abuse is suspected. The Hennepin and Ramsey Poison Control centers are also great resources for tox info on drugs and substances of all types. Good information can also be found regarding specific drugs by simply entering the drug name or slang name into your search engine and checking the results. If you find other sites with good information, please forward them to Sgt. Don Marose at don.marose@state.mn.us so they can be included on this list. Good luck and happy surfing.
